Super late posting today but it was a day full of celebrating my big 4-0 birthday!

This will be short and sweet since I’m exhausted 🤣🤣🤣

Ended the day at my most favorite brewery, which I’ve talked about before, drinking their flagship beer.

-6.5% fruited kettle sour. Dark sweet cherry, maple syrup and vanilla beans.

Ohhh it’s a sour lovers dream! And even those who aren’t sour fans like me, love it.

Bursting with tropical fruit notes from its galaxy of hops (Citra, Mosaic, and Galaxy, for the beer geeks), it’s soft on bitterness and big on juicy, cosmic vibes.

Think: mango meets passionfruit while floating weightless in a pool chair.

This is a sour that isn’t messing around! It’s jam packed with great tart raspberry flavor 😋💥It’s giving very sour candy taste and I’m all about it! 🍬 It’s light-bodied, crushable, and not super carbonated which makes it such an easy drinker. Great beer for chilling out after a long day 🍻 This is another topnotch Michigan beer! 🤘🏻🍻
Plus, it looks even nicer in my mushroom cup w/ my GSD, Titan, modeling 🐶🩵

Crunch and Punch Breakfast Bar Sour Ale 🥣
-Sour ale brewed with raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry, marionberry, granola and cream of coconut.

Brewed in collaboration with @450northbrewingco @streetsidebrewery and @fabledbrewworks

It tasted just like a yummy yogurt and granola parfait mixed with lots of warm fresh summer berries.

Oxymorons are usually things like “jumbo shrimp” or “civil war”… but can we add craft pilsner to the list? 😅

I used to think pilsners were boring—aka the opposite of what I’d look for in a beer—but Tiny Bomb by @wiseacrebrewingcompany changed my mind in the most delicious way.

It’s light but layered, approachable but still interesting, and somehow both clean and complex. Brewed with local wildflower honey, it finishes crisp and snappy, just like a pils should.

Pilsners are having an extended moment right now—and honestly, I get it.

I mean…my goodness 😍 First of all, this is clocking in at 6.4% so it’s not super heavy to enjoy in the summer! Second, this beer is a cinnamon roll explosion! You get sweetness from the white chocolate, but it’s not too sweet. Very creamy, some coffee flavors, great vanilla flavor. That cinnamon flavor really hits big! Sometimes cinnamon can be overpowering, but this isn’t! Such a slam dunk of a beer for me!

New house, new beer! 📦🏠🍻

HEY GUESS WHAT... We did a grown up thing! We bought a house! 3 moves in 3 years but now this is IT. There's boxes pretty much everywhere, chaos in every room, I feel so exhausted and bedraggled, but this time it's actually OURS 🤩

It's been a long day of packing, unpacking, cleaning, driving and chasing a very excited small person around. But it's almost 9pm and I've finally sat down and am enjoying a beer in celebration. Hello Squire by @fullcirclebrew is a 4.5% session NEIPA, kindly sent to me by the brewery team.

On the nose, you get orange zest, grapefruit and mango. Plenty of citrus character in the taste - reminds me of when you bite into an orange: there's a deliciously pithy bitterness, but also a concentrated, zesty spray of juice. Vibrant, refreshing and sessionable!!

I recently stopped at a super cute brewery in the Fairfax, VA area and was blown away by the awesome beers & atmosphere 🍻🤘🏻

@eavesdropbrewery | Glitter Bois-Party Hat & Big Pidgey- Banana Cream Pie pictured (Bluebirdies & Cream not pictured)

Glitter Bois was a blue raspberry & lemon seltzer with, you guessed it, ✨GLITTER ✨ It was tart, refreshing, citrusy, and slightly sweet! I wish it had more sparkles in it, but that’s okay!

Banana Cream Pie was a smoothie sour 🤤🤤 She was THICC, sweet, & slightly tart. Big banana and vanilla flavors. This was hands down my favorite from the trip!

This is definitely a brewery that’s on my revisit list! They had a huge outdoor seating area, equipped with large fans that had water misting out. Which, on a 90 some degree day, was definitely needed. Food was available next door with some different options for everyone! This is a place where you take your friends, bring the kids, bring the dogs, and just have fun! 🤩

@trackbrewingco Gold Top DIPAs are a thing of BEAUTY, and this one - Keep It Up - is no exception. Brewed with Citra, Strata and Motueka, this is tasting like summer in a can.

On the nose, there are some intense waves of overripe peach, squidgy mango and a touch of pine.

Silky soft mouth feel with huge hits of passionfruit, candied orange peel, lime and peach gummies. There's a creamy, dessert-like sweetness that's beautifully balanced by a slight herbal bitterness on the finish. Far too drinkable for 8.4%. LUSH 🤤

Better late than never! It was a HOT one today and still is so I decided a seltzer was perfect for this evening. A THC seltzer to be exact.

I’ve really come to love these things and I’m grateful we are legal here in Ohio. See, Ohio is pretty wonderful after all 😉

This seltzer made by @woodstockgoods is plant based! This drink is actually HEALTHY! I know right?! It’s also delicious!! I’m drinking the Dark Berries but I know they have other flavors and you bet I’ll be trying them! Relaxation without the hangover 😉

The name is what caught me as I consider myself to be a hippie at heart but checkout that can art (that rhymed 🤣✌🏼)

Dreaming of the beach today so I figured I would post a little throwback to help me make it through the next 2.5 weeks until I’m there again!

@hoppinfrogbrewery is located right here in good ol Ohio and it still amazes me just how many people in the beer world have heard of it!

“Inspired by the iconic grape drinks sold at the drive-ins in our area, this special shandy is a collaboration between us and Acme Fresh Markets. This shandy was brewed to be totally crush-able, perfect for catching the waves. The California has groovy grape flavors with a squeeze of lemon like it came from the Golden State.”

They should add that it’s also highly dangerous as it’s 7% ABV and tastes like a grape soda. It was perfect for beach drinking.

If you’re ever in the Akron, OH area you most definitely should stop in. They make some really fantastic shandy’s and stouts as well!!

This hazy IPA from @humblesea is made for the kind of summer days that smell like sunscreen and freshwater. Think juicy bursts of mango and citrus with a soft, breezy finish — basically the paddleboard equivalent of a beer. 🍻

One cold can post-float hits different when the sun’s still warm on your skin and the day’s been slow in all the right ways.

Sip slow, hydrate lots, and always know your limits. A dreamy day doesn’t need overdoing. ✨

This is the face of a gal who has spent the afternoon at the beach and then found a beer garden ☀️🍻

Started on Krush: a lovely 4.4% pale by @oakhamales , brewed with plenty of - you guessed it - Krush hops. Served on cask; this was so smooth and quaffable. Strawberry and stone fruit on the nose. In taste, I'd say this verges more on the citrus side but with a touch of sweet raspberry jam, and something slightly herbal - maybe basil? 🤔

If you're in the UK, I hope you're making the most of this glorious weather! Even if we're all a little hot and bothered... 🙈🤣

It’s a hot 90’s summer day, you’ve been outside running through the sprinkler since you woke up bc it seems no one had central air back then, you smell of coppertone and sunshine. You’re starving right? I mean running through the sprinkler is A LOT of work. Your mom yells out to you thru the kitchen window asking what you want for lunch….no brainer….a pb&j sandwich!!

The minute you crack open this can, those are the memories of nostalgia that come flooding back to me. You were young, it was summer, no responsibilities whatsoever and life was good!

Anyone else guilty of buying beers purely because of the name?

Our little one is obsessed with Wallace and Gromit, and ever since the latest film release, he’s been zooming around the garden imitating Norbot - trimming hedges, pulling out weeds, shouting “NEAT AND TIDY!” It’s had me and his dad in stitches. So when we spotted a beer with the very name from @sureshotbrew and @vocationbrewery, there was no way we were leaving it on the shelf!

Neat and Tidy is a 6% New England, dry hopped with El Dorado BBC & Abstrax, Motueka T90 & Amplifire and Galaxy T90. It pours a hazy golden yellow; lime zest, ripe mango and a whiff of fresh-cut grass on the nose. Taste-wise, it's soft and juicy with notes of stone fruit, citrus and a touch of vegetal / piney bitterness.

Happy Thursday (Friday for us lucky ones!)

I don’t know about you but I am SO looking forward to a long weekend. The weather here in Ohio has been absolutely gorgeous lately so I am soaking up alllll the sun I can get!

One of things that I’ve most loved since joining the IG beer community is the beer trades! I’ve had the opportunity to taste beer that I would normally never be able to. In turn, I’ve gotten to share all of the fabulous beer we have here! I love being able to send people some of my favorite breweries 💜

It’s on the sweeter side but I love it! They make so many good flavors that Ashley has been kind enough to send me 🙏🏼
